BlackRock's Strategic Fund Increases Bitcoin Holdings by More Than $3.5 Million
According to documents submitted to the US SEC, the "BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities Portfolio" fund, owned by BlackRock, has increased its holdings in Bitcoin through IBIT, worth about $3.56 million. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas responded, "This is interesting, Rick Rieder manages this fund and he is BlackRock's Chief Investment Officer and Co-Head of Global Fixed Income."
