The Stargate community voted to approve a proposal to revise the LayerZero token distribution, reducing the cross-chain bridge user distribution from 42% to 40%
PANews reported on May 31 that according to the Snapshot voting page, the Stargate community voted to pass a proposal to revise the LayerZero token distribution plan. The proposal shows that the cross-chain bridge user allocation will be reduced from 42% to 40%. The partner agreement allocation will be reduced from 18% to 15%. The allocation of veSTG holders will increase from 20% to 25%.
Earlier news, the LayerZero-based cross-chain bridge Stargate Foundation initiated a proposal vote on potential LayerZero token allocation. The proposal stated that the Stargate community will allocate LayerZero tokens to three categories of users: cross-chain bridge users, liquidity providers (LPs), and veSTG holders.
