Y Combinator-backed talent tokenization startup Trendex raises $4 million and acquires Web3 platform Gummys
Golden Finance reported that Y Combinator-backed talent tokenization startup Trendex announced the completion of a $4 million financing, with participation from Real Madrid's "Golden Ball" winner Benzema and others. In addition, Trendex also acquired the decentralized video and streaming platform Gummys in order to expand from sports to e-sports and YouTube users. The specific acquisition amount has not yet been disclosed. It is reported that Trendex also announced cooperation with NBA stars Marcus Smart of the Grizzlies and Rudy Gobert of the Timberwolves to explore the US market.
