Crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto says it has surpassed 1 million signups
Cryptocurrency advocacy organization Stand With Crypto claims to have registered more than one million members. The organization was established in August last year and its website states that it has collected millions of dollars in donations, with the aim of using this money to mobilize US cryptocurrency enthusiasts to support political outcomes favorable to the technology. The organization rates US politicians, holds public events to highlight digital asset issues, and recently established a political action committee (PAC) to directly engage with candidates. Chief strategist Nick Carr said, "One million supporters from various states and political camps are sending a clear message to Washington. Cryptocurrency is a cutting-edge issue and we have enough data to support it."
