Indiana plans to provide low-cost energy to cryptocurrency miners and data centers
Lawmakers in Indiana are promising "adequate" low-cost electricity and water to large businesses in hopes of attracting data centers and cryptocurrency mining operations to the area. Companies such as Meta, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and cryptocurrency mining company AboutBit have already invested or plan to invest in facilities in the state.
