Hong Kong Securities Industry: Hopes to issue derivative instruments related to cryptocurrency spot ETFs, and launch relevant leveraged options
The Hong Kong securities industry hopes to issue derivative instruments related to cryptocurrency spot ETFs. Since the cryptocurrency spot ETF has officially been listed, brokers can apply to regulatory authorities for issuing derivative instruments, such as introducing options with higher leverage. This will greatly enhance the attractiveness of Hong Kong's virtual asset market. It can be said that after the launch of the cryptocurrency spot ETF, it not only attracts investors who like to invest in physical cryptocurrencies but also opens up more development opportunities for brokers. Xie Mingguang, a veteran in the securities industry, pointed out that he is more confident about Hong Kong's development prospects with regards to cryptocurrency spot ETFs.
