Odaily News LayerZero CEO Bryan Pellegrino responded to community members questions about the code in a post on the X platform, saying that the accusations were unfounded. The code cited by community members was released in 2022, and these configurations are security configurations for applications, not protocol configurations. Even in the latest version, applications can still override this limit to prevent LayerZero from blocking message delivery by configuring the load limit to 0. Pellegrino emphasized that this is not a vulnerability, but a design principle of the protocol to ensure the censorship resistance of the technical infrastructure.
