BlackRock BUIDL and Ondo and other issuers plan to apply for MakerDAO's $1 billion Treasury bond tokenization plan
On July 13th, according to CoinDesk, BUIDL, Superstate, and Ondo Finance, all under BlackRock, plan to apply for MakerDAO's $1 billion national debt tokenization plan. Previously, MakerDAO announced the official launch of the Spark Tokenization Grand Prix, with the goal of tokenizing $1 billion of real-world assets (RWA) and introducing them to MakerDAO. The competition is open to all innovators and issuers, with selected partners receiving up to $1 billion in liquidity support.
