PANews reported on July 17th, according to Columbia Broadcasting System in the United States, a letter from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) shows that the committee has decided to conduct virtual roll-call voting in August and officially nominate Joe Biden as the Democratic presidential candidate. The head of DNC Rules Committee, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Leah Daughtry stated: "We will explain in detail why virtual voting is the wisest method and how it works. On Friday, we will propose a framework for best conducting negotiations. Next week, we will continue to hold a second meeting to review and pass specific rules established for this purpose."
