QCP Capital: The traditional finance world lacks understanding of ETH, and the spot ETF for ETH without collateral is unattractive
QCP Capital stated on its official channel that the first week of spot ETH ETF trading looked familiar to when BTC spot ETF was launched, with ETH retreating from a high of $3563 to a low of $3086. Grayscale's ETHE's high fee of 2.5% once again drove capital outflows. So far, the net outflow from 8 ETFs is $178 million, with ETHE alone having a net outflow of $1.16 billion in just four days.
Analysts say that unlike BTC's digital gold positioning, ETH may be quite an abstract concept for the traditional financial world and will take time to further absorb. Moreover, investors have less motivation to buy spot ETH ETFs without collateral functions.
