Solana-based governance experiment MetaDAO raises approximately $2.2 million, led by Paradigm
Venture capital giant Paradigm recently led a $2.2 million financing round for MetaDAO, a governance experiment based on Solana. MetaDAO is a project that has been in the works for several months and aims to establish a governance structure that relies on market forces rather than voting. According to Proph3t, the anonymous founder of MetaDAO, Paradigm will hold 3,035 META tokens, becoming the largest single holder of META, accounting for 14.6% of the total supply. About 30 angel investors also purchased 965 META tokens, with a total financing amount of $2,229,950.
