Trump proposes using Bitcoin to pay off $35 trillion in national debt
Former US President Donald Trump mentioned in an interview with Fox that Bitcoin could be used to repay the US government's debt of up to 35 trillion US dollars and avoid an imminent debt crisis. Trump stated: "Maybe we'll repay the $35 trillion (national debt) with a little encrypted currency check, right? We'll give them a little bit of Bitcoin and then we'll wipe out our $35 trillion."
