Blockchain game developer Cartridge completes $7.5 million Series A financing, led by Bitkraft Ventures
On August 5th, according to VentureBeat, blockchain gaming and autonomous world infrastructure provider Cartridge announced the completion of a $7.5 million Series A financing. The round was led by Bitkraft Ventures, with participation from Fabric, Dune, StarkWare, Primitive, and Ergodic. Cartridge also launched Dojo 1.0, an open-source development tool and framework for building verifiable games. The company plans to use this funding to expand its team and develop its ecosystem, supporting a variety of Dojo-based blockchain games released this summer, such as Loot Survivor, Paved, and Dope Wars. Cartridge CEO Tarrence van As said the company will continue to develop player identity and reputation management tool Cartridge Controller and execution layer Slot.
