Whale Wallet That Bought ETH at $0.31 on Ethereum Wakes Up 9 Years Afterwards
A cryptocurrency wallet that participated in the ICO event held in Ethereum in 2015 woke up from its long sleep.
In an interesting development, a cryptocurrency whale woke up who participated in the Ethereum ICO 9 years ago and has shown no movement in his wallet since then.
The cryptocurrency whale in question obtained 500 ETH from the Ethereum ICO event he attended 9 years ago and paid a fee of $155. In the ICO program, the ETH price was set at $0.31. On the other hand, the current value of the wallet's assets is around 1.25 million dollars.
The awakened cryptocurrency whale sent only 0.1 ETH to a new address. There are claims that this may be a test transfer.
ETH price has recently experienced a severe decline along with all other cryptocurrencies. It is claimed that one of the important reasons for the decline is that the cryptocurrency company Jump Crypto sold large amounts of ETH and SOL.
ETH price is trading at $2,529 at the time of this writing and has lost 23% of its value in the last seven days. On the other hand, weekly losses for BTC remained at 14%.
