Venezuela's state-owned telecom and internet service providers cut off access to users including Coin, Signal, and others
State-owned telecommunications and internet service provider (ISP) CANTV has blocked access to the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, CoinShares, according to local media reports. The measure, which could affect thousands of people, is part of a series of blocking measures imposed on other services, with similar actions taken against Mercado Libre, Signal, Reddit and other similar services. CoinSecure responded to this and said in an email sent to Venezuelan customers that “like several Venezuelan company websites in different sectors (including social networks), the CoinSecure page is facing access restrictions.”
