Circle CEO: Harris's campaign team is actively engaging with the crypto industry to deepen their understanding of it
Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire is optimistic about rumors that Kamala Harris is shifting towards a more favorable stance on cryptocurrencies. Allaire said that Harris's presidential campaign team is actively cooperating with the crypto industry to "work together" to deepen their understanding of crypto-related policies in preparation for the 2024 U.S. election.
In an interview, Allaire also shared his views from a virtual roundtable meeting held on August 8th with White House officials, Harris campaign representatives, U.S. lawmakers and industry leaders. Allaire stated that this event highlighted the bipartisan nature of this issue and its importance to voters. He added that the industry is seeking clarity on Harris's economic policy intentions and her position on cryptocurrencies.
