Analysis: Ether's inflation of 228,000 coins in the last 4.5 months, about $602 million
According to Aftermath Monitor, Ether has been showing inflation recently. Data shows that the total amount of ETH has increased by 228,000 tokens valued at about $602 million over the past four and a half months, with an average daily increase of 1,652 tokens. Since the beginning of April, ETHGas fees have remained below 2 Gwei for an extended period of time due to reduced activity on the chain, resulting in more tokens being produced than destroyed.The total amount of ETH has risen to 120,291,622 from 120,063,605.If this trend continues, annual inflation is expected to reach 600,000 tokens, which would be worth approximately $1.59 billion at current prices, representing an inflation rate of 0.5%.The total number of tokens produced has increased from 1,063,605 in the past 4.5 years, and has increased by 1,652 daily, compared to other assets. Nevertheless, the 0.5 per cent inflation rate is still low compared to other assets.
