The three major U.S. stock indexes closed down collectively, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.39%, the Nasdaq down 1.12%, and the S&P 500 down 0.6%. Popular technology stocks fell across the board, with AMD down nearly 20%, Nvidia down more than 2%, and Tesla, Google, and Amazon down more than 1%.
