Web3 developer D20 Labs acquires Zynga's Web3 game Sugartown
Mobile publisher Zynga has announced that it has abandoned its Web3 game Sugartown, revealing that it has sold "all products and assets" of the game to Web3 developer D20 Labs. The specific sale amount is not disclosed yet. Zynga first released Sugartown last year, using Web3 and blockchain technology to develop games. The head of marketing at D2 pointed out that the studio is entirely composed of Zynga's former Web3 team, this handover took several months of preparation, and they plan to continue with the original game's Web3 team's plans.
