Insider: AI company Poolside is seeking nearly $500 million in financing at a valuation of $3 billion
On September 13th, insiders revealed that Poolside, a start-up company developing artificial intelligence software writing, is undergoing a new round of financing negotiations. This will give it a valuation of $3 billion before the release of its initial product. Insiders said that the company will raise nearly $500 million. Bain Capital Ventures, an existing investor in Poolside, is negotiating to lead this round of investment. Neither Poolside nor Bain Capital Ventures have commented on this matter. Poolside was founded by Jason Warner, former CTO of GitHub and software entrepreneur Eiso Kant at the beginning of 2023.
