Bloomberg analyst: Bitcoin spot ETF options are expected to be launched in the United States in Q1 2025
Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said that options for Bitcoin spot ETFs may be launched in the US in the first quarter of 2025. Seyffart said in a panel discussion at the Permissionless conference on October 9th: "I think it may be launched (Bitcoin spot ETF) options before the end of the year, but it is more likely in the first quarter of 2025." In September of this year, the US SEC authorized options related to Nasdaq's listing and Belade IBIT, and is waiting for final approval from the CFTC and the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). Seyffart added: "Unlike the SEC's regulations, the CFTC and OCC do not have strict deadlines, so if they are willing, they can further delay." (Cointelegraph)
