Fortune Magazine: The likelihood of Elon Musk winning a second lawsuit against OpenAI seems slim
According to an analysis by Fortune magazine, the chances of Elon Musk winning his second lawsuit against OpenAI seem very slim. Musk is trying to force the organization he previously founded to pay him triple the $44.6 million he donated within five years and compel it to open source all research results behind its neural network GPT-4.
Musk claims there exists a "founding agreement" with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman that explicitly prohibits this possibility. However, he failed to produce this agreement and instead argued that it was fully reflected in the non-profit organization's registration certificate from December 2015. (Fortune)
