Bitcoin Reclaims $64,000, Cryptocurrency Short Liquidations Surpass $100 Million
On Monday, October 14th, the price of Bitcoin broke through $64,000 in early trading, rising 2.1% in the past 24 hours and breaking through the narrow range of weekend fluctuations. TradingView shows that the BTC price reached a peak of $64,173, the highest level so far in October, and rebounded to the lowest level since September 30th. According to CoinGlass data, due to the sudden change in the price of Bitcoin, more than $101.4 million in short positions have been liquidated in the entire cryptocurrency market.
