The Washington Post drops endorsement of presidential candidates in US election
William Lewis, publisher and CEO of The Washington Post, issued a statement on October 25th stating that The Washington Post will not endorse any presidential candidate in this election, nor will it appear in future presidential elections. Since 1976, The Washington Post has often supported Democratic presidential candidates, with the exception of the 1988 campaign.
