Over 60% of cryptocurrency investors in Indonesia are under the age of 30

Data released by the Indonesian Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) and local cryptocurrency platforms show that over 60% of the country's cryptocurrency investors are aged between 18 and 30. A report in September showed that 26.9% of investors were aged between 18 to 24, while 35.1% were aged between 25 to 30.

In addition to demographic data, Bappebti also reported that the total amount of crypto asset transactions reached IDR33.67 trillion, equivalent to about USD2 billion. In September, the number of crypto users in Indonesia reached approximately twenty-one million two hundred seventy thousand.
