Bitcoin and Ethereum options trading volume generally rose in October, with the open interest of Bitcoin options increasing by 35.76%
According to data from TheBlock Pro, the trading volume of Bitcoin and Ethereum options increased in October. The monthly trading volume of Bitcoin options reached 54 billion US dollars, an increase of 39.8%; the trading volume for Ethereum options was 10.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 4.7%, and the open interest for Bitcoin options rose by 35.76%. In addition, the open interest for Bitcoin futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) increased by 21.5% to reach $12.5 billion in October, with daily average transaction amounts rising by 9.6% to approximately $5.3 billion; meanwhile, the monthly average transaction amount for Ethereum futures rose by 4.8% to reach $4888 billion.
