Sports Metaverse Platform Bitball Announces $5 Million Series A Funding
On November 15th, Bitball, a sports metaverse platform, announced the completion of a $5 million Series A financing round, jointly led by IntelligentCricket and Neon Eight Group, bringing the total financing amount to $7 million. The funds will be used to expand its AI-driven sports gaming ecosystem and develop a 3D cricket game based on real-time sports data, which is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2025. Since its launch in December 2023, Bitball has attracted over 5 million users and plans to hold a BALL token generation event (TGE) in the fourth quarter of 2024.
