The XRP price surged 10% in the last 24 hours to trade at $1.61 as of 3.30 a.m. EST on trading volume that soared 10% to $8.31 billion.

XRP has seen a considerable price increase in the last 24 hours, but traders are eager to find out if the coin can keep climbing, or if it reached the end of its surge.
Its Bollinger bands are giving positive signals, as they continuously widened over the past 10 hours or so. There was one moment when they narrowed suddenly as the token approached the $1.6 mark, but after its price dropped from the upper band to the middle point between the two bands, it suddenly bounced back up, breaking the resistance, and climbing over it.
Since then, the price kept pushing the upper band even further, although it did see a slight rejection over the last hour or so, which caused it to drop back toward the middle point between the lines.
The project’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) value, on the other hand, suggests that traders are still highly bullish on XRP. Its RSI has been fluctuating between the overbought zone and then neutral area, but it often ventured deep into the overbought zone, climbing to nearly 80.
But, when traders sold and the RSI dropped, it never reached the value of 50, suggesting that the bulls would move in to buy the dip long before technical indicators suggested that the time was right for doing so.
All of this suggests that traders have great faith in XRP and its ability to continue to climb, which is supported by technical indicators. In other words, if the market doesn’t see a major twist triggered by a powerful catalyst, XRP price could continue climbing in the hours to come.
