QCP: Microsoft shareholders' vote may become the catalyst for BTC to break through $100,000

QCP: Microsoft shareholders' vote may become the catalyst for BTC to break through $100,000

Bitget2024/12/02 10:22

News on December 2nd, QCP released a daily viewpoint stating that Bitcoin briefly touched $98,000 during the Thanksgiving holiday. This increase was driven by Michael Saylor presenting his Bitcoin investment strategy to Microsoft. Microsoft's shareholders plan to vote on December 10th on whether to include Bitcoin in its balance sheet. Will this become a catalyst for Bitcoin to break through $100,000 before the end of the year? Major Microsoft shareholders such as Vanguard, BlackRock and Fidelity already have exposure to cryptocurrency through their investments in MSTR, Coinbase and other crypto companies. Some might think they already have enough exposure. However, if the proposal is passed it would not only be beneficial for Bitcoin but also positive for their other investments. While waiting for Microsoft's decision next week, US employment and labor data will once again be in focus this week. ISM manufacturing data and PMI data are scheduled to be released on Monday and Wednesday respectively. However, the highlight of this week is Friday's non-farm payroll data. The market will closely watch this week's reports in order to better grasp inflation trends especially before interest rate decisions from December 17th-18th.
