Data: By 2024, institutional funds have purchased about 3% of the total supply of Bitcoin
According to Geoff Kendrick, the head of global digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, institutional funds accounted for about 3% of the total supply of Bitcoin in 2024. When talking about Bitcoin breaking through $100,000, Geoff Kendri said: "Ultimately, this is just a number. But the reality is that Bitcoin was able to reach this level because the industry has become institutionalized - especially this year - mainly due to ETF inflows." (Reuters)
