Nine out of 30 spots in the Forbes 2025 “30 Under 30” finance category were claimed by founders from the crypto and blockchain sectors, highlighting the ongoing influence of the digital asset space.

The 2025 list, which recognises North American entrepreneurs under the age of 30, featured 14 founders across nine crypto-related companies.

Among them were 10 men and 4 women.

A notable inclusion was Shayne Coplan, the 26-year-old founder of decentralised betting platform Polymarket, which gained attention for allowing bets on the U.S. presidential election.

Coplan explained, “I was raided by the FBI after the election,” which Polymarket claimed was a result of “obvious political retribution” by the outgoing administration of President Joe Biden.

Several decentralised exchange (DEX) founders also made the list, including Kaledora Kiernan-Linna and Marco Antonio Ribeiro from Ostium Labs, and Sunny Aggarwal and Dev Ojha, founders of Osmosis.

Drift Labs co-founder Cindy Leow was also recognised for her contributions to the industry.

The list also highlights the work of other innovators in the space, such as Soroush Ghodsi Boushehri, Stefan Stokic, and Jake Sylvestre, the founding team behind Cortex Labs, which is developing AI-integrated blockchain solutions.

Additionally, Tux Pacific, founder of Entropy, a firm focusing on on-chain AI agents, also made the list.

Other crypto industry leaders featured include Austin King and Tyler Tarsi, co-founders of Omni Network (CRYPTO:OMNI), and Uma Roy, co-founder of Succinct, a company focused on zero-knowledge proofs for developers.

Crypto founders were also well-represented in Forbes’ 2024 list, with a similar number of spots occupied by blockchain leaders.
