The proposal for Jupiter community to airdrop 1.4 billion JUP tokens in the next two years has been approved

The Solana decentralized exchange, Jupiter community, has passed a new round of Jupuary airdrop proposal with 87% support. A total of 1.4 billion JUP tokens will be distributed in two installments over the next two years.
Key points included in this updated proposal are: unclaimed JUPs will be allocated to the ASR (token holding incentive) reward pool; additional rewards for staking users and prioritizing actual token holders and ecosystem participants while explicitly excluding bots from participation.
