On January 10th, Stacks co-founder Muneeb Ali announced that the Stacks network has completed an upgrade that increased network bandwidth by 500%, and the tenure-extend feature in the Nakamoto protocol is now live on the mainnet. The core development team plans to implement multiple optimizations by 2025, but the early launch of this feature is considered a significant advancement.
