2024 was the worst year for Canadians Bitcoin -funds, as they recorded a record outflow of $707 million.

Interestingly, the first crypto- ETF appeared in Canada in 2021, and then the inflow of funds into them exceeded $4,2 billion. However, already the following year, almost $151 million was withdrawn from them.

As expected, US Bitcoin-based funds turned out to be the leaders in 2024. They accounted for almost 100% of the total inflow into BTC-ETPs, which amounted to $2024 billion in 44,2.

Second place goes to Swiss ETFs based on the leading cryptocurrency. Last year, investors poured almost $630 million into them, which is 98% less than in the US ETF .

The United States is the birthplace of exchange-traded funds and now accounts for more than 70% of the world's assets under management by exchange-traded funds.
