Ethereum Co-Founder Says Staked Ether ETFs Could Be Approved Soon, According to Discussions with Fund Issuers
Ether exchange-traded fund issuers are optimistic that staked Ether ETFs will soon be approved by regulators, according to Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin. He stated that fund issuers are working hard to create the best solutions for customers to deal with complexities around staking and slashing. The approval of staked Ether ETFs could lead to greater client diversity and a more robust and diversified ecosystem. The US Securities and Exchange Commission has yet to approve a staked Ether ETF, but industry experts believe this may change under new leadership.
