US January CPI annual rate unexpectedly rises, core CPI monthly rate rebounds beyond expectations
On February 12th, the unadjusted annual CPI rate in the United States for January recorded 3%, marking the largest increase since June 2024. The adjusted core CPI monthly rate for January in the U.S. recorded at 0.4%, marking the largest increase since March 2024.
