BNP Paribas: Fed rate cut may be delayed until mid-2026
BlockBeats News, 17 February - Analysts at BNP Paribas Markets360 expect that the Federal Reserve may not cut interest rates until mid-2026. The Fed has held this view since early December last year, basing its forecast in part on expectations for tariffs. Recent news suggests that the Fed may have to raise its initial estimate of tariffs. Money markets now expect the Fed to resume rate cuts in September. (GOLDEN TEN)
