WikiLeaks received a $2 million Ether (CRYPTO:ETH) donation from a pseudonymous programmer named "Hu Lezhi," who included unusual onchain messages.

Lezhi alleged that the Chinese military is using brain-computer chips to control citizens.

The messages, translated, detail a grim scenario of technological overreach.

Lezhi claimed the brain-computer chips have been deployed militaristically on a large scale and that this technology is utilised to control citizens.

The donor also alleged that the technology has deprived them of human dignity and expressed a desire for the world's destruction.

In addition to the allegations against the Chinese military, Lezhi accused two hedge fund executives at Kuande Investment (WizardQuant) of deploying similar brain-computer weapons to control employees.

WizardQuant had not provided a response to requests for comment.

According to Etherscan, the 711.5 Ether sent to WikiLeaks came from multiple transfers between February 10 and 17.

Adding to the unusual transactions, Lezhi sent 603 Ether to Ethereum’s burn address and 700 Ether to the “ndao.eth” wallet address.

In total, the donor transferred 2,047 Ether, amounting to nearly $5.6 million.

Following the initial transfers, the address associated with the donations has remained inactive.

Lezhi’s claims follow reports that China has ramped up its brain chip program.

WizardQuant, founded in 2014, has offices in Shanghai and Beijing and specialises in quantitative investment strategies.

Xin is the co-founder and chief risk officer at WizardQuant, while Yuzhi serves as chief investment officer.

At the time of reporting, the Ethereum (ETH) price was $2,704.16.
