The U.S. Senate confirmed Jamieson Greer as the U.S. Trade Representative on the 26th, with a result of 56 votes in favor and 43 against. Greer is a lawyer with an international trade law background who served as Chief of Staff to then-U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer during Trump's first presidential term.
