David Sacks: U.S. decisions to sell Bitcoin over the past decade have cost taxpayers nearly $17 billion
David Sacks, the White House AI and cryptocurrency chief, wrote, "In the past decade, the federal government has sold about 195,000 bitcoins, generating $366 million in revenue. If the government had held onto these bitcoins, their value would now exceed $17 billion. This is the cost to American taxpayers of not having a long-term strategy."
