Telegram founder Pavel Durov allowed to leave France and return to Dubai
according to Cointelegraph citing Agence France-Presse, Pavel Durov, the founder of the instant messaging application Telegram, has been granted permission by a French court to leave France and has now returned to Dubai.
The report stated that Durov was granted permission by a French court on March 13 to travel to Dubai. Agence France-Presse quoted an unnamed source as saying, "Durov left France this morning," and added that he left under the approval of the authorities.
The specific terms of the court's decision are not yet clear, and Durov himself and his legal team have not made any public statements on the matter.
