Yellow Network Launches "True Yellowists & Slaying Sybil" Initiative
Yellow Network is advancing to its next phase with a new initiative designed to reward genuine community members while addressing past irregularities. The program aims to ensure fairness, sustainability and a stronger ecosystem for loyal participants.
One of the primary challenges in any campaign is identifying sybil activity — when a single entity creates multiple wallets to gain unfair advantages. To combat this, Yellow Network is introducing a two-phase approach:
Part 1: Self-Reporting
Participants who voluntarily self-report will retain a portion of their intended rewards, acknowledging honesty while reinforcing fairness. The reporting process is anonymous with no questions asked.
To self-report:
- Visit the official self-reporting form (link forthcoming)
- Submit your list of wallets
- Your submission will be reviewed and partial rewards allocated accordingly
After the self-reporting phase concludes, any unreported sybil accounts will forfeit their rewards.
Part 2: Bounty Program
Following the self-reporting period, community members will have the opportunity to help identify remaining sybil accounts.
Successful reports will receive 10% of the forfeited allocation from verified sybil addresses. If multiple people submit the same report, the bounty will be split between the first reporter and the Yellow Network team.
To submit a bounty report:
- Visit the bounty submission form (link forthcoming)
- Include a clear methodology on how you identified the accounts (e.g., transaction patterns, wallet clustering)
- Reports will be reviewed and successful submissions rewarded
Key Rules:
- If a sybil address is self-reported before being flagged by the bounty program, it will still receive partial rewards
- If an address is reported before self-reporting, it loses its entire allocation, and the bounty hunter is rewarded
This initiative focuses on fairness rather than punishment — unclaimed rewards will be redistributed to legitimate Yellow Network participants. More details will be available in the official Yellow Telegram group .
