Musk stated that the U.S. government has no plans to use Dogecoin
On March 30, at a town hall meeting sponsored by his American Political Action Committee in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Musk distinguished the Federal Efficiency Department (DOGE) from Dogecoin cryptocurrency.
"To my knowledge, the government has no plans to use Dogecoin or any other currency," he said. "Their names are very similar, but in reality, we just want to increase the efficiency of the government by 15%."
