Three Former U.S. Presidents Speak Out Criticizing Trump
According to Jinshi, former U.S. President Bill Clinton delivered a speech on the morning of the 19th local time at an event in Oklahoma City, comparing the way the city came together with the current state of national division. Clinton said, "If our lives are dominated by the attempts of those we disagree with, then our 250-year journey towards a more perfect union will be at risk."
In just a little over two weeks, this marks the third former U.S. President to take the public stage to issue a warning against the current occupant of the White House. On April 3rd, Obama delivered a speech at Hamilton College in upstate New York, pushing back against Trump's measures towards universities and other institutions, urging those with resources to fight back. On the 15th, Biden made a speech in Chicago, condemning Musk's move to cut social security spending.
