Metaplanet Buys More Bitcoin: Company Acquires 330 BTC

Metaplanet, a Japanese company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has resumed its Bitcoin (BTC) acquisition, further increasing its exposure to the cryptocurrency. In its latest move, the company purchased 330 BTC on the same day the asset’s price surpassed $87.000, bringing its total custody to 4.855 BTC, estimated at over $420 million at current market values.
This was Metaplanet's third acquisition in April, despite a global market environment marked by tariff uncertainty and a decline in US stock indexes. With this new purchase, Metaplanet is among the ten largest public holders of Bitcoin in the world.

Another Japanese company that has recently invested in BTC is ANAP Holdings, a traditional fashion brand. The company revealed the purchase of around 16,6591 BTC, equivalent to approximately US$ 1,4 million. The operation will be managed by its subsidiary, ANAP Lightning Capital, which will make quarterly assessments of the market value of BTC reserves, reflecting any profits or losses in its financial reports.
Metaplanet's BTC yield for the current quarter is 12,1%, an impressive figure, although lower than the previous quarter's yield of 95%. The metric used by the company measures the growth of bitcoin per fully diluted share.
