The crypto market has continued its uptrend today with XRP price surging over 7% in the past 24 hours while Bitcoin aims to break above $100k in a solid buying pressure. Altcoins like SUI, SOL, ADA and LINK have also followed the trend with them marking gains of 6.77%, 2.97%, 3.46% and 2.85% respectively.
Since the swearing-in of Paul Atkins as the SEC chair on 22 April, the crypto market is going through renewed interest with Bitcoin managing to reclaim the long-lost $90k range and now eyeing a surge past the six-figure price ahead of the weekly opening in the U.S. stock markets.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin price is trading near $95,491 with a 24 hour trading volume of $23.65 billion. It has surged with a decent gain of 1.62% in the past 24 hours while marking a pump of 10% in the past 7 days.

The price of XRP has surged over 7% following the approval of ProShares’ futures XRP ETF, which are going live for trading on 30 April. Following XRP, other altcoins like SUI, LINK, SOL, and ADA have also surged with decent gains today.
Other altcoins – including NEXO, VIRTUAL, and CORE have also increased nearly 10% while SEI, IOTA, XDC and TAO seen a surge of nearly 8% in the past 24 hours. Besides, leading memecoins – FARTCOIN and BONK have also marked a gain of 11% today.
On the top gaining list, DeepBook Protocol’s EEP token is leading with its price skyrocketing over 42%, followed by XMR’s 17% and PENGU token’s 16% spikes. Meanwhile, FET and BTT have declined by 6% and 4% respectively.
