Grayscale launches Bitcoin ETF targeting companies with BTC treasuries

Grayscale has launched the Grayscale Bitcoin Adopters Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF), offering investors exposure to companies that use Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) as part of their corporate treasury strategy.

The ETF tracks businesses across various sectors, including Bitcoin mining, automotive, and energy, and focuses on firms holding Bitcoin as a treasury asset.

Some key companies in the ETF include Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy, mining company Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA), automotive manufacturer Tesla, and technology firm KULR Technology Group.

The new fund highlights the growing trend of Bitcoin adoption by companies looking to leverage the digital asset as a hedge against inflation and a means to increase shareholder value.

Grayscale's move signals a broader shift in the business world, as more companies adopt Bitcoin to protect their financial reserves from the devaluation of fiat currencies.

The rise of Bitcoin treasury companies, such as MicroStrategy, has drawn attention from market experts.

Blockstream CEO Adam Back recently predicted that the trend will help Bitcoin's market capitalisation surge to $200 billion in the coming years.

Fidelity Digital Assets also noted that public companies have been acquiring large amounts of Bitcoin, with over 30,000 BTC purchased per month in 2025 alone.

This institutional buying trend is contributing to a decline in the supply of Bitcoin on exchanges, increasing scarcity and pushing up the price.

Michael Saylor’s MicroStrategy remains one of the corporate Bitcoin holders and continues to accumulate the digital asset at a rapid pace.

Institutions like MicroStrategy are buying an average of 2,087 BTC daily, far outpacing the daily output of miners.

At the time of reporting, the Bitcoin price was $94,779.56.
