Cantor Fitzgerald Chairman Claims to Personally Verify Tether Reserves, Refutes Rumors
At the Consensus 2025 conference held in Toronto, Cantor Fitzgerald Chairman Brandon Lutnick stated, "I personally checked many of their reserves, and we proved many rumors to be false." He mentioned that in the early stages of working with Tether, there were "many rumors" claiming that Tether did not have full reserves. Lutnick emphasized that despite Bloomberg's report that he interned for Tether in Lugano, Switzerland, he clarified, "That is not true."
