The issuance of TRC20-USDT has increased to 75.7 billion, reaching a historic high. With this, TRON has officially surpassed Ethereum to become the world's largest USDT issuance network. Since the beginning of this year, the TRON network has issued nearly 16 billion additional USDT. As of now, the number of TRC20-USDT holding accounts has reached 65.94 million, with cumulative transfers exceeding 2.5 billion transactions.
It is reported that TRC20-USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, issued by Tether on the TRON network. Its fast transfer speed and low transaction fees have attracted a large number of users and have gained support from multiple exchanges. The USDT based on the TRC20 version will significantly enhance TRON's existing decentralized application ecosystem, bringing higher overall value storage and stronger decentralized exchange liquidity, and providing a more convenient blockchain entry for enterprise partners and institutional investors.
