Wintermute Expands into the US, Appoints Policy Veteran Ron Hammond and Establishes Headquarters in New York
According to The Block, crypto market maker Wintermute announced that it will establish its U.S. headquarters in Manhattan, New York, on June 1, and has appointed former Blockchain Association Policy Director Ron Hammond as Head of Policy. The CEO stated that due to a shift towards more favorable policies in the U.S., the company decided to quickly expand into this market. Hammond, who has drafted crypto regulations for legislators, said he will use this opportunity to promote compliance innovation and industry collaboration.
